PROJECT OUTREACH, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3), non-denominational corporation, organized with a Franciscan Spirit, to provide aid to the poor, the sick, the aged and the marginalized.
Our mission in Fayette County is to serve the poor, the elderly and the marginalized; to support and encourage students who live in poverty; and to provide a safe location and environment to distribute food and clothing to the families we serve.
The history of Project Outreach dates back to 1977 when Fransican Sister Elaine Wicks began serving residents of Fayette County through the Rossville Health Clinic. Today, the volunteers of Project Outreach continue Sister Elaine Wicks's mission to improve the quality of life for underserved communities in Fayette County.
Project Outreach's board of directors is comprised entirely of volunteers devoted to the work of Sister Elaine's mission.
